Join Dane County Parks and Trout Unlimited for an outing to remove invasives along the Sugar River the new Falk Wells Natural Area. We’ll be clearing the stream bank to provide access for fishing and other activities by cutting invasive species such as honeysuckle and buckthorn. You can learn about invasive species management, why this area was acquired and the special features it offers, and also about fish habitat. We’ll work from about 9 am – noon.

Meet at 9 am at the parking lot on Hwy 69 about 2 miles south of 18/151 south of Verona. Tools are provided, but please wear work clothes with sturdy shoes and work gloves, and bring water to drink. Contact Don Ferber at for more information or at 608-217-2959 if you can’t find the location or will get there late.
